2023: A Year in Review 

A Year of Accomplishment, Learning, and Growth for PLG's Environmental Division

As we dive headfirst into 2024, we would like to reflect on our “Year in Review” and celebrate some memorable moments for our Environment Team. 2023 was a year of growth, learning, and accomplishment as they oversaw the completion of two large scale restoration projects in Abbotsford, resulting in the creation of 3757 sq m of fully functioning new aquatic habitat. The Environment Team also completed numerous watercourse assessments, environmental reviews, bird surveys, and wildlife salvages, having undoubtedly trekked many kilometres through the outdoors in 2023. We know it's been a hard day’s work when the biologists walk into the office covered in mud! Overall, it has been a successful 2023 and we would like to thank everyone who helped make it a year of milestones. We are look forward to embracing new challenges with you all this 2024.
