Our field crew has been busy this summer season!
Our time outside conducting bird nest surveys, fish salvages, amphibian salvages, watercourse assessments, and environmental reviews has brought us face to face with a few of nature’s creatures and critters.
While conducting amphibian salvages throughout the Fraser Valley, we’ve safely relocated Oregon spotted frog, Pacific tree frog, egg masses, and larval salamanders:
We discovered an active spotted towhee nests during a survey in Abbotsford! These hatchlings grew up safely within our protective nest buffer until they were old enough to fly away and start their own families.
During the instream works window, we safely relocated more than 75 fish including this cutthroat trout:
And we haven’t forgotten about these common creatures either:
Our suburban adapted friends are all over the place but we love it when they keep us company out in the field!
Overall, it has been a successful summer field season and we can't wait for the next one. Our team of Qualified Environmental Professionals is ready to help you with your project, call our office at 604-501-1624 for more information.
